LPTI Ongoing Training Cohort
LPTI offers two 9-month closed Psychodrama Training Cohorts comprised of 8-12 members each. The LPTI Training Cohorts are intended primarily for, but not limited to, professionals and students in the mental health and human services fields. Training sessions take place once per month for 9 months. The continuity of meeting as a closed group fosters an environment where members can experiment with psychodrama in many ways according to their learning interests, preferences and needs.
The Introductory Level Training Cohort focuses on essential psychodramatic and sociometric techniques, along with essential theoretical concepts that underlie the method.
The Intermediate Level Training Cohort offers the needed experiential learning and skills development to direct psychodramatic and sociometric action structures.
The training integrates classical psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy with contemporary knowledge from interpersonal neurobiology and attachment theory. In addition, concepts and methods from sensorimotor psychotherapy and mindful hatha yoga are also introduced to complement Moreno’s approach, including his early philosophical and spiritual roots. The result is a theoretically grounded, integrative and holistic model.
Participants at all levels of experience with psychodrama are welcome. LPTI’s core leaning domains of theory, skills development, personal growth and professional application are emphasized.
Cohort members make a commitment to participate in the entire series.
Membership in one of the LPTI Training Cohort is by application and interview only. If interested, contact Cathy for further information and for an application.
