Special Topic Workshops–One Day
LPTI offers four one-day Special Topic Workshops per year. In these workshops, we use action methods to explore the topic creatively and holistically. One-day workshops feature sociometry, sociodrama, role-training and short psychodramatic vignettes.

Continuing Education Information: 7.0 continuing education hours (Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, National Board for Certified Counselors/NBCC; 7.0 psychodrama training hours (American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy).
LPTI Special Topic Workshops–Weekend
LPTI offers two Special Topic Weekend Workshops per year. The weekend workshops provide the opportunity to explore a topic in greater depth. In addition to didactic presentations and skills practice, full psychodramas with processing are offered during the weekends.

- The “ABCS” of Self-Care & Self-Compassion for Psychotherapists;
- Working Skillfully with Strong Emotions;
- Directing Skills Intensive.

LPTI 5-Day Residential Workshops
The intensity and cohesion of a small group living together for five days offers a more in-depth and powerful experience in psychodrama. Opportunities to be protagonist and for skills practice are provided. LPTI invites renowned Master Trainers to co-lead the workshop, bringing their specific expertise to the experience.
The workshop is held at Blue Mountain Retreat Center, a picturesque setting in the rolling hills of Western Maryland. The workshop schedule allows for free time to explore the naturally beautiful setting. The retreat center shares 27 acres of property with Ehrhardt Organic Farm, which has been selling high quality, organic berries, vegetables, herbs and flowers to restaurants, at farmer’s markets and thru their CSA since 1981. The proprietor prepares delicious, organic home-cooked meals, sourced from her farm as much as possible, to retreat participants. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. Massage appointments are available on-site.
