LGPC Supervision

Cathy is a Maryland State-Approved Supervisor for graduate professional counselors. She offers individual and small group supervision. Supervision includes the use of role-play and experiential methods to help newer counselors develop and enhance their clinical skills with a variety of clients.

Psychodrama Certification

Certification is a complex process that usually unfolds over several years. Cathy can help you meet all of the requirements, including the supervision requirement, as delineated by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.

LPTI offers a suite of tools to help you track and document the required training and supervision hours for certification.

These training hours may be counted towards the Certified Practitioner in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy certification, C.P. credential, as approved by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.

Catherine D. Nugent is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners and certifies that this program meets the criteria up to 7.0 credit hours of Category I continuing education for social workers in Maryland.

Laurel Psychodrama Training Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider with the National Board for Certified Counselors (AEP # 6788) and certifies that this program meets the criteria for up to 7.0 hours of continuing education for counselors. Programs that do not qualify are clearly identified. Laurel Psychodrama Training Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
